Welcome to

Whether you are a full or part time RV’er or you just enjoy great music, we thank you for logging on to RV Radio, aka FTRVIR. I would like to introduce you to our family of stations, but first a background on the concept. In 2017, my wife Dana and I made a life changing decision to sell nearly everything including our modest home in Washington State, and travel the full time RV lifestyle. You can read about that decision on our blog page. We headed south to Laughlin Nevada where we are waiting out the winter under mostly blue skies and semi warm temps. This decision meant adapting the radio stations to the lifestyle we have chosen. Country Gold Network became Longhorns And Legends and along with Groovy Baby ir, we hit the road. Early 2018 we launched our third station, Swing Baby ir. May of 2018 we made a decision to split Longhorns and Legends. Seperating the Texas Music from the Classic Country. Leading to The Higway Texas country for the open road was born. and Retro Country Over 50 years of country music was launched. Pushing groovy Baby into our 3rd radio spot bumping Swing baby ir off our plate. A little bit about our stations. FTRV Internet Radio 1.  The Highway. The best in Texas country music.  Formerly Longhorns and Legends, and the County Gold Network, The Highway has been nominated Internet Radio Station Of The Year over a number of years.  We are a reporting station to the Texas Regional Radio Report, the premier music chart for Texas country.  This is not your Nashville music. Enjoy syndicated shows like the CD Tex Radio Show and The Official Texas Countdown. FTRV Internet Radio 2.  Retro Country. The best classic country lives here. From the 50s into 2000, classic country is gaining a wide fan base who enjoy the traditional sounds of country music. Syndicated shows include K-Todd Classic Country and If That Ain’t Country. FTRV Internet Radio 3. Groovy Baby.  Pull out the love beads and lava lamps, and take a trip, (pun intended) back in time to the 60s and 70s. Groovy Baby features feature’s music from one hit wonders to hard to find 45’s and the world’s biggest rock and roll artists who have stood the test of time. RV Radio 4, Velvet And Brass, This stationis “EZ On The Ears With A Touch Of Brass To Jazz Ya.”For those who remember the sounds of “Beautiful Music” aka “Elevator Music” Velvet And Brass blends together instrumentals and soft favorites. A Peaceful mix of music that pairs well with a glass of wine. Relax and enjoy RV Radio 4, Velvet And Brass. It takes a village to raise a nut, and I am surrounded by some great talent, from my webmaster genius, Edward Campbell at Sinodatech, www.sinodatech.com, to people in the music industry like Jay Karl Jenson in Nashville, The Greens at BGM Networks in Texas, outstanding promoters. Tami, Roger, Dorthea, Paul, and many others.  Thank you to the artists who strive day after day to grow their brand of unique country music, Texas style. So with that, I invite you to click a link to the left, and enjoy the music. RVRadio.org ”Enjoy The Ride.” Happy Trails Mike Carlin
