1966 F100 engine revamp.

Post by RewT » 01 Feb 2014, 16:42

I had to re-gasket the engine due to many leaks so I pulled the engine to make it easier and so I could clean and paint the engine bay.

This is what I am starting with.

The water pump and all the front pulley are getting cleaned and sandblasted and a fresh coat of paint along with the valve covers. I will take some more progress pics today.
Getting a good deal is no reason to accept sub-par work, since making it right costs more later.

Found out the 390 heads and manifold are acutually a set of 428 matching set worth quite a bit of money. Here are some pics.
