1983 El Camino shave job.

This was started by the owner, so he stripped down most of the car already, I am shaving all the markers and trim holes along with a little bit of rust repair. Then cleaning the firewall and core support. Also going to clean and prep the inside floor boards and re due the undercarriage with new liner. And re doing the doors to get rid of the rust.

I started working on filling all the trim holes and tie down holes that were in the body. Also removed all the small molding tabs. I did wind up cutting squares and welding new in where the hold downs were do to years of use and stretching out the metal pretty good.




























Now the holes are all filled and smoothed.

Then I started making patch panels for the front and rear marker lights and a patch panel for the radio antenna.

And all sealed.

Then shaved the license plate box. Reinforced the area first then made a patch panel, cut it in, welded it up and then sealed it.
