I scored this one and saved it from the scraper too. Its a SWB with a 4 inch lift and 32" tires. Truck is pretty straight with just alittle bit of rust on the rear of the cab. Could also use a new hood. It runs and shifts fine, doesn't leak a drop of oil. It does need a drivers front brake caliper and the interior is about 10 different colors and was missing the upper dash pad.
It needs alittle bit of work, but I have already started doing some little things to it. Might keep it for a nice fall project.
Here are some pics.

Alright I have decided to keep this project for wheeling. I am going to be making some easy mods and keep it simple for this season, manly want to get it out and wheel it. I contacted the last owner and he says that the truck has front and rear limited slip lockers that he installed and the front is a Dana44 off a earlier model. It has a 4"Rancho lift kit with RS5000 shocks and steering stabilizer and a raised steering arm. It also has an ORD 2piece frame repair weld on kit for the steering area.
Next is to rebuild the new front driveshaft I got from Ed and install it. I am also building a winch bumper for it now.
Got the old bumper off and getting ready to cut the plate for the new one.
Stock bumper was a pain to get off due to the fact it was pushed in and bent.

Yesterday I got the 1/4 inch plate cut for the new bumper mounts I am making. I am making it so this will bolt up to the factory bumper mounts and hold a 12k winch up higher that the frame horns and easy to access. I had an old winch channel mount from another project so it is going to be used for this project.
And here a couple pics.
With the winch channel.
Now I am going to plate the front and install some KC lights I have left over and add some tubing to it also.

Waiting for cash to buy a new winch and also need to pick up some new KC lights, the ones I had don't work and the mounts are stripped out. I started working on the rear the last couple of days, starting with the removal of the bed and rear bumper.
pic of the bed removed.
Rear bumper.
This is a pic of the rear bumper. I was testing it and marking it to where I needed to cut it down.
This is a center section of a Ford ranger that we were going to use for another project, but didn't. It fits perfect.

And the last pic.
Next I am going to bedliner the small deck, then finish up the interior.

Found out today that I have a Np205 transfercase so I will be ordering a twin stick setup for it. Talking with my neighbor and he ask where was the winch for the bumper I made, I told him I still need to purchase it. He said he has a barely used 8K smittybilt he isn't going to use anymore.
$150 later and she getting mounted on the front and wired.

Got all my house chores done today, so this afternoon I installed a set of Heavy Duty shackles on the front springs. I originally got these and cut them down to fit my cruiser to replace the Revolvers I had on the rear.
Here is a pic of the new shackle with upgraded grade8 1/2 bolts.

He said mudd tires he thinks they were 35's He said they were on his old truck and wasn't going to use them anymore. He said $100 and they are yours on rims.

Friday Me and Ed had some free time at the shop, so we decided to do the shackle flip. Went pretty smooth and didn't take very long either. Ed used the plasma and made short work out of the mounts to clear the shackle.
This is what we started with. 4" blocks that didn't let the springs flex very much.
And the block removed.
And the after.
Now the rear suspension is done until I install the 63" and longer shackles. Not bad for $30 buck worth of parts..
