Re: 1966 Rambler American.
Update. This car was sold a few month back! It was still in primer, but I had put new floors in it and got rid of all the rust and fiberglass. It was sitting out back of the shop and I put it on craiglist and got a bunch of calls and ended up having 2 guys get into a bidding war!! Great for me, caus...

36 In. Sheet Metal Brake.
Another great tool of the trade. I bought this to make truck bed floor patch panels. This is a great bender and worth the small investment. I wish it was a finger brake, but that would probably triple the price! I did install casters mounted to 2x4's to make it mobile and easy to move around the sho...

Bench top Throatless Shear.
I bought this tool from Harbor Freight, lots of other company's sell the same exact tool for lots more. This thing is great, makes quick work of most sheet metal cutting jobs. Here is what the Manufacture says about it.. This handy throatless shear is the perfect tool for achieving straight, curved ...

Fab table modified and add ons.
I bought this fab table close to 5 years ago at a garage sale. The previous owner used it to make knifes. It came with the anvil, hold down and smaller vise. I removed all those items over time, but still use them in the shop! I also installed some heavy duty steel caster wheels to make the table po...

Work cart.
This is my favorite portable work cart I have ever owned. I have had better quality truck bought boxes and still have my Matco 4 drawer rat fink cart, but I just love my little harbor freight 1 drawer my wife bought me over 12 years ago. Here is a list of mods and add on's I have done. Added a power...

Swag offroad Work bench clutter catcher.
I bought this because like most fabricators, I was getting tired of a cluttered work table with no room to work. This is fairly cheap and super heavy duty!! Well worth the money. Here is what it says about it on there website. Work Bench Clutter Catcher Constant clutter and a disorganized work bench...

Re: My new welding cart.
Had to do some small changes. I decided to mount the bottles on the end of the cart to make it so the cart isn't so wide and can fit around in the shop better.

stationary grinders and sanders
Talking about stationary grinders and sanders, I have atleast 5 or more hand held grinders with different disc and cups on them and a bunch of hand sanders. I will discuss those tools in another tread. Sanders and grinders are perfect for fine shaping and finish fit up. I have a few different kinds ...

Re: English wheel & Planishing hammer.
I did recently take the English wheel apart and painted the brackets and the frame itself. I am going to be upgrading the wheel to the Bench top English wheel from the Eastwood company after the first of the year. Been using one at a friends shop and with the larger dies, works a lot faster and easi...

Upgraded portable band saw. I also made another stand!
I have had the older Harbor Freight orange colored porta band saw for over 10 years and it has been a excellent saw and I am really happy with it, But the blade guides are worn out and the blade is eating away at the machine and I am worried its going to give out. I picked up the newer version this ...

Excel 3 in 1 tig, stick and plasma cutter.
The Excel 3 in 1 tig, stick and plasma cutter is another must have for the shop. I purchased this from Ebay over 4 years ago for right around $500 shipped with extra consumables. I use the plasma cutter more than anything else, but I have used all the features and they all work great. Tig welding: T...
